Losing someone that you are close to is never easy. But arranging their funeral can be a rewarding experience as you plan a service to reflect on their life and their many achievements. Below are the seven steps that guide us at Gardenia Funerals.

Call us on (03) 9329 4024 and we will support and guide you on selecting a funeral service suitable for your family as you celebrate the life of your loved one. Once you are happy to engage us we will confirm a time to bring your loved one into our care.

We will set up a time to meet with you and other family members, at your home or other location, to plan the funeral.

There are a number of Statutory forms that will need to be completed.

These can be completed online or when we meet face to face.

A Gardenia Funerals Remembrance Consultant will meet with you to plan all aspects of the funeral.

They will detail the services we have available and guide and assist you in making the right choices.

Your Remembrance Consultant will support and be available leading into and after the funeral.

In addition to the traditional aspects of a funeral families often choose to include some celebratory ones too.

We will be able to assist you in planning the exact style of funeral to reflect the life of your loved one.

Having met and determined all of the funeral details we set about organising and liaising with third parties (i.e. cemetery, florist, catering) to ensure the funeral goes to plan.

We will stay in touch to ensure you know how every little detail is progressing.

If you have booked a vehicle through us we will arrange a time to pick you up.

Our staff will be there to support and guide you through the day.

We can drive you back home, to the post funeral celebration or to a location of your choice.

Births, deaths and marriages will send you a copy of the death certificate.

We will arrange a time to visit to return any items that we have in our care or deliver cremated remains if applicable.

We will send you an invitation to attend our Christmas Remembrance Service.

We are always just a phone call away if you need any additional support or visit our loss and grief resources.

Families arranging a funeral have a lot to consider in terms of planning and paying for the services. We have a number of different packages available covering the most popular service types and these are detailed below. Alternatively we can tailor a funeral to your needs. BRAID PACKAGE

Our Braid Package is for when no mourners are in attendance at the cremation and therefore no vehicles are included.

Often this package is chosen by families who may wish to hold their own private service or no service at all.

CHAPEL CREMATION SERVICE
$3,950

Our Remembrance Package is for when mourners are present at the cremation service.

Package includes Celebrant fees, use of chapel, Remembrance Coffin, eTribute, flowers, DVD tribute, and more.

RENTAL CASKET SERVICE
(Eco Friendly)

Our Rental Casket Service is for when mourners are present at the cremation service.

Our most popular package includes Celebrant fees, use of a chapel, eTribute, floral arrangement, DVD tribute, and more.

TRIBUTE PACKAGE
$4,950

Our Tribute Package is for when mourners are present at the cremation or burial service.

This package includes Celebrant fees, use of a chapel, Tribute Coffin, viewing, eTribute, floral arrangement, funeral notice, DVD tribute, and more.
